Spring Boot Camp will be May-4th-6th.

It will be a two night event

beginning on a Friday Afternoon.

A Boot Camp is not about the seven things a man ought to do to be a nicer guy or more productive church member.  It is about the recovery and release of your heart, your passion, your true nature, which you have been given by God.  We want to invite you to rush the fields at Bannockburn, to go west, to leap from the falls and save the Beauty.  For if you are going to know who you truly are as a man, if you’re going to find a life worth living, if you are going to love a woman deeply and not pass on your confusion to your children, you simply must get your heart back.  You must head up into the high country of the soul, into wild and uncharted regions and track down that elusive prey. A Dangerous Heart Boot Camp is an expedition of the heart rather than proving ones physical ability.  It is patterned after the Wild at Heart Boot Camps attended by thousands of men in Colorado done by John Eldredge and Ransomed Heart Ministries.

This event is more than a retreat or just a few good messages that you might go home and soon forget.  These boot camps are specifically designed to help you unplug from the matrix of daily life and plug into the one who promises to give you the life your heart deeply desires.

While we use relevant messages that speak clearly to the hearts of men in way that few others do we also use Hollywood film clips from movies like Braveheart, Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan and others that make men want to rise up and be counted.  But the most important thing we will do is give you the time and environment to take your questions directly to Jesus.

Park Springs Christian Center has plenty of wooded private retreat grounds where you can get off by yourself to pray, seek and receive God’s intimate counsel for your life.

The schedule will give each man quality time alone with God as well as three hour segments on both Friday and Saturday for free time which will include things like Zip Lines, Fishing, Hiking, Basketball, Soccer or just hanging with other men and getting some much needed down time....

The event will begin Friday after Lunch with  ample free time to reconnect or get to know new friends around the bonfire.

A Two Night quest into the recovery of your masculine heart as outlined in Wild at Heart by John Eldredge. Through teaching sessions, adventure activities, guided periods of reflection, we have designed an expedition of the heart that will start you on a journey of freedom and life that you desperately desire.

While a band of brothers to walk with you is always a good thing, one temptation we face is to take things to others before we have taken it to God.  Use the small groups to your benefit but not to the exclusion of taking your questions to God first.  Also be considerate of others in these groups.  They are not the time for one man to dominate and tell his life’s story or for us to counsel one another or tell each other how to manage life better.  Take advantage of praying together and for each other and protect the sanctity of the group by letting God lead those times as well.
